The ‘Shearers Quarters’ are part of Angorichina Station which is 150,000 acre working sheep station. The original shearer’s quarters which date back to the 1850’s offer a glimpse of the past with modern fittings providing practical, comfortable accommodation ideal for families and groups wanting a private escape to get in touch with nature.


The Shearers Quarters are adjacent to the ‘oldest working native pine woolshed’ in Australia, which is operational in November every year. Your hosts ‘The Fargher Family’ are fifth-generation pastoralists in the area – so enjoy the local knowledge. 4WD, Hike, BBQ, BirdWatch, get involved in station activities (seasonal), Relax or take a scenic flight with the station owner.
The self-contained accommodation feature:

  • One queen room (with electric blanket)
  • Five twin rooms
  • 4-bed bunkhouse
  • Large dining room (with fireplace)
  • Outdoor dining and an open campfire for evenings under the stars
  • All bedrooms have ceiling fans
  • Laundry facilities

The well-equipped kitchen has all the modern conveniences of home:

Kettle
Toaster
Gas oven/stove
Outside BBQ & entertaining area
Large open plan dining/living area with open fire (wood supplied at no additional cost)

Rates:

  • $35 per person/per night
  • Minimum of $250 per night (Minimum 3 Night Stay)

Linen is available on request for an additional fee of $30 per person for the duration of your stay.

Little Paddock is a beautiful stone homestead nestled on a hill just 2km from Blinman. Boasting 360-degree views, this large, high ceiling stone building is ideal for couples, families and groups wanting a private escape.

This self-contained homestead has all the modern conveniences of home:

  • Dishwasher
  • Full-size fridge
  • Microwave
  • Kettle
  • Gas oven/stove
  • Outside BBQ & entertaining area
  • Large open plan dining/living area with combustion fire (wood supplied at no additional cost)
  • Television
  • Telephone for local and incoming calls
  • Laundry Facilities
  • All rooms have ceiling fans
  • campfire pit for those lovely evenings under the stars

The Bedroom configurations are:

  • 2 king rooms (with electric blankets)
  • 1 queen room (with electric blanket)
  • 1 bedroom with 4 single beds
  • Large open plan dining/living area with fireplace

The homestead is part of Angorichina Station which is 150,000 acre working sheep station.

Rates:

  • $50 per person/per night

  • Minimum of $300 per night (regardless of the number of people)

  • Minimum 3 Night Stay
